This Heavyweight TSS 12 Gauge shotshell is loaded with Federal’s own Tungsten Super Shot. It is 56 percent more dense than lead. It is 22 percent denser than pure tungsten, even! With its density of 18 g/cc, Tungsten Super Shot retains astounding momentum as it flies over dozens of yards, ensuring it delivers the punch you need to drop the most rugged tom instantly. This long-distance turkey shell is actually loaded with a mix of #7 and #9 shot. That makes its pattern far more versatile (i.e. deadly) over a wide range of distances.

Federal’s FliteControl Flex wad pushes such hard shot evenly down the barrel without letting it scrape up the bore. The FliteControl Flex also promotes more efficient patterns as it erects fins upon expulsion, which ensure clean detachment from the shot column. (It is compatible with standard and ported turkey chokes alike.)

A Heavyweight TSS shell’s shot is additionally loaded with buffering material, a feature which prevents recoil energy from flattening it and decaying its accuracy. This ammo is clean-burning and non-corrosive, and Federal donates a portion of their proceeds to the National Wild Turkey Federation.
