This 12 Gauge shell is a three incher. A heavy hitter. A round that smacks a mallard’s broad side with 1-1/8 ounces of BB steel shot. You’re obviously not putting all 81 of those 0.18” pellets on target, but this shell’s deformation-proof shot pellets deliver a satisfactorily narrow pattern even so.

This shell could easily have stored more shot. But by lightening its load, it’s able to achieve a mighty fast 1,550 fps muzzle velocity without creating unsafe chamber pressure. The high-brass hull will handle so much pressure without cracking open – multiple times, as a matter of fact, because it is reloadable.
