This 12 Gauge shell’s 3” hull stores a 1-1/5 ounce load of high-quality steel shot, and its fast-burning powder ignites to accelerate that heavy column to an express 1,550 fps muzzle velocity. That gives steel the energy it needs to fly straight, cut through feathers, and bore all the way into a bird’s ticker.
This shell is loaded with BB shot – a great size for taking medium-sized geese as well as pass shooting ducks. Fiocchi takes every required step to ensure the uniformity of their nontoxic steel shot pellets, and for their Flyaway label they take the added measure of zinc plating them. Corrosion resistant zinc shields the shot pellets from rust, so their exteriors won’t become too rough to let the pellets hold a dense pattern. Flyway shot prevents flyaways!
