This shell’s shot column may be lighter than usual, but that just means it’s able to achieve a fast muzzle velocity of 1,325 fps without generating a whole lot of added recoil energy in return. The shell’s hinged AA wad further serves to soften felt recoil, so you’ll avoid fatigue while simultaneously realizing reduced muzzle flip.
The collapsing AA wad also absorbs recoil energy before it can significantly flatten the shot pellets. That alongside Winchester’s proven hard shot does a great deal to tighten this shell’s pattern, so you can put more of those little lead balls exactly where they can do the most damage. And so long as you don’t leave those high-strength hulls on the ground, you’ll have primo reloading components to use back at your reloading station.
