This 12 Gauge shotshell is charged up with an even ounce of shot. It’s going to kick a little less than a full-size 1-1/8 ounce load, which can give you a noticeable advantage if you’re cracking two clays one right after the other or just want to avoid as much recoil as possible during a long day of shooting.
The shot itself is good old #8: 0.09” diameter pellets which combine a decent range with a dense pattern to make fast work of clays however far away they may have sailed. This shell’s specifically engineered for target shooting, though #8 shot is also capable of killing the smallest birds, not to mention yard pest type critters. Hit a barn rat with this shell and it’s going to regret its life choices.
Aguila is the same Mexican manufacturer charged with making most of the Mexican military’s ammo. We can’t imagine soldiers would have much use for this particular ammo, although Aguila’s streamlined production process yields consistent primers, powder, hulls and heads. Good stuff to have good fun with at the clay course!
