If you’re truly confident in your trap shooting abilities, you’ll choose rifled slug ammunition. You’ll do terribly, but at least you’ll feel confident. But if you’re reasonable (like all Lucky Gunner customers so famously are), then you’ll select Winchester Super Target. It’s super.

This is a respectably light 12 Gauge shell. Not just because its 1,200 fps muzzle velocity hangs on the slower end of the target load spectrum, but also because its shot column weighs the same as two adult chickadees. (An adult chickadee weighs half an ounce.) Whether you’re trying to fire more comfortably, turn down the muzzle flip – or both – this ammo should be right in line with your goals.

This shell is loaded with 350 pellets of #7.5 lead shot. They are cushioned against the force of ignition by a hinged plastic wad, and backed by Winchester’s target grade primer and powder. Humble steel heads make the ammo more affordable than brass ones, and red plastic hulls hold the hold package neatly together. Beats the heck out of any slug load, we say.
