Is there anything more heart wrenching than missing a clay at the trap range? Absolutely, we can think of several worse things that could happen to you, but that doesn’t mean you should suffer a lost target just because your ammunition is subpar. If you want to storm the range with some of the best target loads the market has to offer, then Winchester’s AA Diamond Grade label is just for you.

This shell is loaded with #7.5 shot, a popular choice for busting clays as well as hunting a variety of upland game. AA Diamond Grade shot is anything but common, though. Each pellet in this shell has been carefully sorted to ensure its 0.095” diameter. Each lead pellet is fortified considerably by antimony, and further copper plated to virtually immunize it against deformation. The product of such exceptionally hard shot, as you might imagine, is one of the most accurate spreads you’re ever likely to wield.

Winchester’s own AA wad elevates this shell’s performance even further. It collapses during ignition to reduce felt recoil, and also boasts a petal design that grants its shot even greater protection against flattening. The tight spreading wad is rocketed out of the barrel by a charge of clean burning propellant, which itself is sparked by a non-corrosive primer.

Winchester plated this shell’s head with nickel, which lessens friction to help any type of shotgun feed more efficiently. That alongside the shell’s hearty plastic hull makes this ammo a great investment for the handloader as well!
