Aguila loads this shell with a lightweight column of #7.5 lead shot. At one single ounce it still packs 350 0.095” diameter pellets, so your spread will be plenty dense enough to pulverize any clay it connects with. This shell’s lighter load of shot does well at a faster muzzle velocity of 1,275 fps, as it keeps a flat trajectory without generating heavy recoil which could complicate rapid fire or make high-volume shooting get uncomfortable.
Aguila also loads this shell with a even patterning wad, which is hinged to take a little more sting out of recoil. Their primers are non-corrosive and their powder is clean-burning – residue won’t accumulate in your shotgun so quickly that you’ll have to maintain it at the range. And all these fine components live together happily in a ribbed and reloadable hull!
