Browning is a great company if you want your shotgun, hiking boots, truck seat covers, purse, and neoprene dog vest all to bear the same logo. Of course, the classic American brand also makes mighty fine shotgun ammo too!

This 12 Gauge shell is loaded with #6 shot. It’s a great size for hunting grouse and partridge at closer ranges, and will make short work of Mr. Bun and similarly sized mammals as well. (No raccoon wants to take a snoot full of #6 shot.) But this shot is extra special because it is made of steel instead of lead! You can take it to California with impunity, or enjoy firing it around pristine wetlands which you’d feel terrible for contaminating with heavy metal.

This Dove & Clay load’s wad is designed to prevent any hard steel from marring and scratching your shotgun’s bore. It does a keen job at grouping that shot tight together as well, so you can more easily take a bird on the wing without leading your aim so much.

Browning loads this steel shell to a muzzle velocity of 1,325 fps, giving the lighter metal greater killing energy over longer distances. This shell’s clean burning powder and non-corrosive primer won’t harm your shotty, and its hull is every bit worth saving for reloading down the road!
