If you’ve only tried Top Gun series ammunition, then you haven’t yet experienced Federal Premium’s best target load. This is it: High Over All, which is designed to satisfy the discerning tastes of elite skeet shooting enthusiasts.
This shell is loaded with 1-1/8 ounces of #9 shot. That creates the densest pattern you’re going to see out of a normal target load: 658 individual pellets. The shell’s 1,145 fps muzzle velocity doesn’t clock as especially fast. That’s advantageous for skeet, where lower recoil and accompanying muzzle rise simplify accurate rapid follow-ups.
High Over All shot is high-antimony: extra hard, which tightens pattern density by reducing pellet-flattening deformation under recoil. The Podium wad, which has a bagel-shaped compression zone in its midsection, reduces recoil’s effects on the shot column and your shoulder alike.
High Over All ammo remains valuable even after it has been fired. Between its solid brass heads, which are easily reshaped, and its single-piece plastic hulls, which readily accept multiple styles of component wads, this is highly reloadable ammo.
