A: Thanks for reaching out Yasser! This shell is loaded with #7.5 birdshot. When a shell is loaded with a slug, its projectile is identified as such. When it is loaded with buckshot, its projectiles are referred to as 000, 00, 0, #1, #2, #3 or #4 buckshot (or just "buck"). When a shotshell's projectiles are birdshot, it is simply referred to as "shot". Birdshot is typically available in sizes F through #9, although even smaller pellet diameters are available.
