“Pichón” is the way our friends down south s ay “squab.” “Squab” is just a fancy word for pigeon, and pigeons, as you may know, are in the same bird family as doves.

Aguila’s Pichón Plus line of ammunition is specifically designed for live bird competitions, where pichóns are released one after the other in one of the greatest tests of shotgun skill. Whether you’ve got a live bird competition lined up or want to go hunting for upland game, this ammo has you covered.

This 12 Gauge shell is loaded with a heavy 1-1/4 ounce column of #7-1/2 shot. It’s also loaded to a fast 1,400 fps muzzle velocity, so do expect a little more kick than you would from your trap and skeet loads. Its 437 pellets of shot create a dense pattern, and with so much energy right out of the gate this shell offers excellent performance over longer distances. That’s perfect when your game flies fast, turns on a dime, and doesn’t want to be anywhere near you!

Aguila makes a fine shotshell with hard lead shot, uniform wads, consistent primers and clean-burning powder. This ammo is what they would call “¡excelente!”
