Hunting for turkey, pheasant, and other friendly little woodland critters is always a lot of fun. But the guilt you might feel for leaving behind lots of plastic tubes and wads? Not so much. That’s why hunting with BioAmmo’s 12 Gauge ammo feels so rewarding!

Neither this shotshell’s wad nor tube are made out of plastic. Instead they are made out of biopolymer – a material which is strong like plastic, but which is also completely degradable because it is made out of plants! When this ammo’s hulls and wads come to a rest atop soil or underwater, they’ll gradually get eaten away by hungry bacteria, algae and fungi. The odorless decomposition process takes about two years and leaves nothing behind!

BioAmmo loads this shell with #5 lead shot, which is perfect for taking larger upland game. The hard round pellets are patterned tightly by BioAmmo’s vented wad, which erects petals following expulsion to ensure clean detachment from the shot. That wad also features a compression zone to take some of the bite out of felt recoil.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
