A: No sir. As a rule, semi-automatic shotguns do not cycle short shells. Perhaps there's a way to modify an autoloader so it can run 1-3/4" shells, although I'm not aware of it.

A: Thanks for reaching out Ronald! In my opinion, Federal Force X2 is the most effective shorty shell for home defense with any shotgun. Its segmenting shot pellets split in two upon striking soft tissue: double the wound channels, significantly reduced chance of over-penetration.
