A: Thanks for reaching out Rodney! This ammo should function just fine in any pump-action shotgun. You really only run into cycling issues when you're talking about semi-auto shotguns, which require a minimum amount of chamber pressure to operate correctly. This ammo should deliver the lower-recoil performance you're looking for, for sure. If you'd like a low-recoil shell for home defense – but want law enforcement quality when your life's on the line – then I'd definitely recommend getting a 5-round box of Federal Premium Tactical ammo: https://www.luckygunner.com/12-ga-2-3-4-rifled-slug-hydra-shok-federal-law-enforcement-low-recoil-5-rounds. And if you'd like a range load that shows you what heavier recoil feels like, then Remington Slugger magnum ammo ought to treat you to a good demonstration: https://www.luckygunner.com/12-ga-3-7-8-oz-high-velocity-rifled-slug-remington-slugger-5-rounds.

A: Sorry sir, but we don't have a system in place to alert our customers when a certain product is back in stock. We do update our inventory constantly, so I hope you'll check back in again soon!

A: Thanks for reaching out Guy! Fiocchi's Aero Slug has an attached wad that continues to stabilize the projectile in-flight, Brenneke-style.

A: The rifled slug is designed with rifles to be shot through a smooth bore shotgun. The rifling on the slug works the same way a typical rifled barrel would to impart the rotations needed to stabilize the slug. A Sabot slug is designed to be used in a rifled barrel shotgun. It is designed like a typical rifle or pistol bullet.
