A: Hi Anthony. Those Siagas are fussy eaters. Most will do well with the lower velocity buckshot, but quite a few have to have the full power higher velocity rounds to reliably cycle the action. Try a few small boxes to make sure which you have. Let me know if I can help. Have a great new year.

A: Hey Brandon! Welcome aboard! The 870 is one of the best shotgun designs ever. It pretty much sets the benchmark for pump action reliability. You will not find a shotshell from #9 birdshot to 000 buck that your Remington doesn't love! I suggest using a light field load to get used to operating your shotgun.
