12 gauge 00 buckshot is chosen around the world for one very simple reason; proven, versatile performance that is suitable for both hunting and home defense. These shotshells are manufactured by Fiocchi, an Italian company with over 140 years of experience making ammunition and components for sporting purposes, law enforcement applications, and professional-level competitions. That means that these rounds are made with care and tested techniques for dependable function that you can trust. Each of these 12 gauge shells uses a 2-3/4 inch plastic hull that is compatible with nearly every shotgun on the market and repells moisture in storage.

The hull is attached to a brass head which houses a non-corrosive 209 primer free of breech-marring chemicals. Inside the shell is a 9-pellet load of 00 buckshot pellets which measure 8.38mm or .330 inches in diameter. Because the pellets are molded from hardened lead, they are more likely to remain rounded when they leave the muzzle; this contributes to tighter patterns, deeper penetration, and devasting energy delivered to a deer, coyote, or threatening attacker. Fiocchi places a collapsing wad right beneat the shot which helps to cushion harsh recoil before it reaches the shooter's shoulder. Investing in a bulk 250-round case allows for plenty of practice as well as for patterning tests with various barrel lengths and chokes.
