A: Thanks for reaching out Junior! I can't guarantee any kind of performance out of a firearm I haven't personally tested. That said, this ammo is designed to function correctly and safely in any 10mm firearm.

A: Thanks for reaching out Kenny! A hard cast is a special kind of bullet that is designed to penetrate the target as deeply as possible. The 10mm is one of the most popular handguns for self-defense – against bears. A bear is a very large animal, so your best bet is a bullet that can efficiently pierce all that fat and muscle to get to the vital organs. A hard cast bullet does not have a jacket. It is made of lead that is alloyed with other metals, like tin and antimony, for the sole purpose of making it as hard as possible. The hard cast owes its ability to penetrate deeply to its inability to expand or otherwise deform. This ammo would be a poor choice for self-defense against a human threat, as the bullet would certainly pass clean through a body and potentially jeopardize innocent bystanders.

A: Yes sir! Federal's Syntech coating is a high-tech polymer application which creates even less friction inside a barrel than traditional gilding metal. It's very clean-shooting as well. This ammo should wear out your Glock's barrel more slowly than conventional FMJ ammo – only the Syntech jacket will contact any part of it.
