You could absolutely use this ammo for hunting medium game. Just take care that its 200 grain hard cast flat point bullets are not designed for terminal expansion. A hard cast bullet’s richly alloyed lead construction leaves it pretty much incapable of undergoing any deformation at all, which is why it’s able to invest nearly all of its energy toward deep penetration. And because its nose profile is flat, the hard cast FP is also equipped to punch out a clean, wide and thoroughly harmful wound channel as it burrows its way toward the quarry’s heart. A hard cast reliably shatters bone, too!
Take caution. While we bill this as “self-defense” ammo, it’s specifically for defense against Smokey, Yogi and Pooh. You really want an expanding bullet for defense against a human assailant. A 10mm’s hard cast bullet is going to pass clean through a two-legged threat!
