The 180 grain Sporting Handgun is a jacketed hollow point. The JHP begins life as an intensely concentric copper shell, which is soon filled with molten lead. That makes this bullet’s core form-fitted, and thus balanced enough to demonstrate highly accurate flight.
The Sporting Handgun’s jacket progressively thickens toward its base. This ensures that the JHP’s nose cavity unleashes uniform terminal expansion as it bores through soft tissue, which helps so powerful a bullet to disperse more of its energy outward and reduces its chance of overpenetrating.
Underwood’s flash-suppressed ammo is awesome whether you’re hunting at dusk or defending yourself at night, as it produces too little light to let your first shot blind you. These fine rounds also sport-nickel plated cases: smooth cycling, corrosion resistant, easy to see in the chamber and easy on the eyes to boot!
