Match grade accuracy. Commanding terminal performance. This premium 10mm cartridge by Atomic Ammunition of Phoenix, Arizona does it all!

This round is loaded with a match accurate 180 grain projectile. You could very well fire such a bullet when accuracy is your sole goal, but it truly shines best during a self-defense scenario. The JHP’s bonded jacket will not detach from its core in any significant way as it plows through soft tissue, so it remains intact enough to pierce a heavily-clothed attacker all the way to their vital area. We’re talking 99% weight retention and a penetration depth of over 15” in pure ballistic gel!

Atomic’s bonded JHP is designed to expand to more than 150% of its original diameter. A .40 cal bullet which increases to 0.70” in width excavates a ruinous wound cavity through its target, and it effectively transfers a great deal of its considerable energy outward so it can inflict crippling hydrostatic shock.

We love to see nickel plating on our self-defense rounds’ brass cases. Nickel protects the ammo against corrosion, and also makes brass smoother so it can feed and extract with the utmost reliability. Boxer-primed, non-corrosive, nonmagnetic and reloadable!
