Underwood loads the Xtreme Defender projectile by Lehigh Defense to solve that problem. This 10mm round’s 100 grain monolithic bullet does not have a nose cavity, as it doesn’t need to expand in order to inflict a debilitating wound cavity inside its target. The grooves machined into the Xtreme Defender’s shank channel soft tissues inward, and then pressurizes them before blasting them outward at exceedingly high velocities. The result is a simply cavernous wound channel!
The Xtreme Defender is made of solid copper, so it is more than resilient enough to tunnel through heavy clothing, thick hide and dense muscle tissue without shedding any significant weight in the process. It even helps to keep your firearm more accurate by eliminating lead fouling.
Underwood’s signature flash-suppressed powder won’t blind you with bright muzzle flash if you open fire in poor lighting. Their nickel-plated brass cases further support great performance by cycling extra smoothly in a semi-auto and warding off harmful corrosion.
