A: Thanks for reaching out James! The diagonal length of the case is 38.28". I cannot fairly promise that you're going to get the fit you want for a 39" shotgun.

A: Thanks for reaching out Roy! This case is Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) compatible. MOLLE (aka PALS) is the current generation of load-bearing equipment and backpacks used by a number of NATO armed forces, especially the British Army and the United States Army. In essence, any pouch or other type of mountable accessory on the market is designed to quickly attach and detach to MOLLE equipment. This case is additionally comaptible with Blackhawk's own S.T.R.I.K.E. mounting system.
I'd recommend this fellow's video if you'd like a quick crash course on MOLLE:

A: Yes, the divider that you mention does come with this weapon case. This may be removed from the case and left behind if desired. Depending on the rifle and what add ons (scope, bipod etc.) are attached will depend on the way I remove them from this case. Most of the time I will have the rifle facing the top (after laying case down) that will be removed from the bag keeping the bag facing upward to make sure nothing falls out, though this has not been an issue in the past. As long as the bag is on a flat surface, there should not be anything to worry about.
If two rifles are being removed, I'll have one side/rifle facing the top, remove, close, flip over, remove the second rifle. This also depends on the range location keeping safety in mind without the worry of "sweeping" (barrel/muzzle pointing) across other shooters or bystanders. Some ranges are very strict, rightfully so, about where the weapons may or may not be uncased and I have found the 'one at a time' method to work best without the worry of other items falling out.
