A: It's good to hear from you Marissa! I just looked up your order – we have not yet processed it due to the exact reason you have just described. Our customer service team will reach out to you to formally cancel the order once the holiday weekend is over, but you may also contact them on Monday at (800) 317-9506 if you prefer. (I would have liked to help you, but I'm regret that I'm only qualified to answer questions about ammunition.)

A: Thanks for reaching out Pilar! This ammo is designed to function correctly in all 45 ACP firearms, but some handguns do function more reliably than others when it comes to steel-cased ammunition. You might be interested in Kimber's official take on steel-cased ammo, which they sent to a user on 1911forum.com in 2006:
"On one edge of the sword, if not properly cleaned and lubricated a pistol will have harder time feeding steel cased ammunition. As to harming the pistol though, the steel case is coated with a type of brass lubricant that keeps the steel from doing any harm. Another issue is when your pistol is hot and needs cleaning, the brass type lube comes off in the chamber and will make the pistol gummy after plenty of firing without letting the pistol cool.
"On the other edge of the sword, this is a very inexpensive way to gain needed practice. With this type of ammunition, good cleaning and lubrication, and proper cooling between magazines, this is some of the best practice ammunition for the dollar."

These 230gr. FMJ rounds by Tula in .45 ACP have a muzzle velocity of 853 fps and a muzzle energy of 372 ft.lbs. They make great target rounds for your .45 ACP forearm.
