A: Thanks for reaching out Dajana! As a rule I only recommend FMJ ammo like this for shooting targets at the range. The FMJ is incapable of terminal expansion while it penetrates soft tissue, which means it doesn't create as wide a wound channel as a jacketed hollow point (JHP). Furthermore, while range ammo like this is plenty reliable and shouldn't fail to feed, fire or extract, it's manufactured with the understanding that any performance issues will not be life-threatening. In short, good self-defense loads are generally of a higher quality than any range ammo you could buy.
That said, you could certainly neutralize a threat with an FMJ bullet. If this ammo was all you had at your disposal, you would be far from defenseless. But I encourage you to have a look at the selection of 380 ACP self-defense ammo we currently have in stock:

Please let me know if you have any questions about these cartridges!

A: Hi Marilyn! At times we are able to offer a discount for multiple products on the same order. When that is the case, you will see an "buy XX for $XX.XX" price listed just under the regular price on the product page. This particular round will give you the boxes at $14.50 if you purchase 10 each.
