A: Thanks for reaching out Craig! This 38 S&W ammo is loaded in accordance with the same specifications your 38 S&W pistol was designed around. So long as your firearm is in good condition, it'll handle this ammo just fine!

A: No sir. The 38 S&W's bullet would not fit through a 38 Special revolver's barrel. You can exclusively fire 38 Special ammo in your revolver.

A: Yes sir! "38 S&W Short" is just another name for 38 S&W. They're one and the same cartridge.

A: Hello April! You can safely run 38 S&W through your 38/200. Just make absolute certain you do not order 38 Special or 38 Super!

A: Hi Charles. If you old H&R is chambered for .38 SW, these will work fine. They are loaded with smokeless propellant, but are loaded to the lower pressure levels of the black powder rounds. Make sure those old shooters are in good shape before firing though! Have a great day. Ross
